Aliens could be living in the acid clouds of Venus, a study backed by Nasa says.
Researchers think the sulfur dioxide-rich upper atmosphere of the planet might be home to simple microbial life.
Scientists used space probes to detect dark patches around the rust-coloured body, which resemble the light-absorbing properties of bacteria on Earth.

Venus' upper atmosphere is made up of sulfur-dioxide and droplets of sulfuric acid which fall to the surface as rain

The mysterious patches could be blooms of space-algae, similar to those which occur in lakes and ponds.
Venus' cloud are partly made of sulfuric acid and reflect 75 per cent of the sunlight that falls on them, making them completely opaque.

The planet has been dubbed Earth's evil twin because of its incredibly inhospitable surface conditions, where it rains acid and is 462C.

The research, published earlier this week in the journal Astrobiology, suggests extra-terrestrial microbes could survive by being blown around by winds in the cooler cloud tops.
Paper co-author and biological chemist at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, said: 'On Earth, we know that life can thrive in very acidic conditions, can feed on carbon dioxide, and produce sulfuric acid.'
Venus once had a habitable climate with water on its surface for as long as 2 billion years.

Suge Knight Refuses To Leave His Cell To Go To Court

A judge has delayed a hearing in Suge Knight's robbery case after the former rap music mogul told deputies he was too sick to leave his jail cell.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen says he almost ordered Marion "Suge" Knight forcibly removed from his downtown Los Angeles cell for Wednesday's hearing. But he instead delayed the proceedings to coincide with a Friday hearing in Knight's murder case.
The 50-year-old Death Row Records co-founder is charged along with comedian Katt Williams with stealing a celebrity photographer's camera in September. Both men have pleaded not guilty. Knight has no attorney in the robbery case, and Coen says he might appoint him counsel at Friday's hearing.

TMZ reports that Rose blindsided her rapper husband with the filing, and she's apparently shooting for sole custody of their 1-year-old son, Sebastian.
Amber is reportedly seeking to limit Wiz to supervised visitations. There's no word yet on what prompted the sudden split, we think it's safe to say that it's far from amicable. There are rumors of infidelity on Khalifa's part, but it is unclear if Rose made any mention of it in her divorce decree. Rose and Khalifa celebrated their one-year anniversary just last month, and the couple seemed to be in good spirits during all of their recent public appearances. Rose gave birth to their only child back in February, and famously flaunted a flawless baby body in public just weeks later. The couple does have a prenup, which Amber acknowledges in her filing. She's not contesting the agreement, as it reportedly provides her with spousal support. Obviously, it's a sad situation for all involved, but clearly the real tragedy here is that there will be no one to twerk for Wiz the next time he releases a number one album.
