Jay Z, Beyonce & Drake Lead 2014 BET Awards Nominations

The Carters and Drizzy Drake lead this year's nominations for the 2014 BET Awards with 5 nods each. Beyonce is a perennial favorite garnering nominations for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collab for "Drunk in Love" and Video of the Year for both "Drunk In Love" and the steamy "Partition." Jay Z will have stiff competition in Drake, Kendrick Lamar, protege J. Cole, and Future for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist. Jigga Man and the missus will also go head to head with Drizzy's "Hold On (We're Going Home)" for Video of the Year. Pharrell & new comer August Alsina come in with 4 nominations each, including facing off in the "Best Male R&B/Pop Artist," category.
